Welcome to Villa Crone La Matanza – your own private paradise on Tenerife.
The 300 m² villa stands entirely on its own on a finca of around 10,000 m² in La Matanza de Acentejo, on the green north coast of the island. From the terraces you look out over the Atlantic, and Mount Teide rises behind the house. A heated whirlpool, an outdoor kitchen and a tropical garden full of mango, avocado and orange trees are all yours.
Four bedrooms with king-size beds, three and a half bathrooms, an office with sea view and 1-Gbit internet: space and privacy of a kind that is rare on the island – for up to 8 guests, with a sofa bed for 1–2 more.

About the accommodation
Imagine your first coffee of the morning with the sea spread out below you, fresh mangos and avocados picked straight from the tree at lunchtime, an evening at the barbecue in the outdoor kitchen – and, to round off the day, the warm whirlpool while Mount Teide glows in the evening light. That is what awaits you at Villa Crone La Matanza.
The villa stands completely on its own on a plot of around 10,000 m². Roughly 5,000 m² of it is a lush, walkable garden with mango, avocado, orange and lime trees – and, depending on the season, bananas and passion fruit. The garden is largely out of view of anyone else; the nearest neighbours live about 100 metres away. This much space and quiet is a rare find on Tenerife.
Inside, the 300 m² villa offers four bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, blackout blinds and its own TV; every bedroom opens through large doors directly onto the terrace. The master bedroom has direct access to its own bathroom, two bedrooms share a second bathroom and there is a third bathroom as well – all three with bathtub and shower – plus a separate guest WC. The cosy living room with fireplace, an indoor dining area and a dedicated office with sea view and 1-Gbit internet make the house just as suitable for a workation or a business retreat as for a family holiday.
The kitchen comes with dishwasher, coffee machine, air fryer and refrigerator (there is no oven – the outdoor kitchen with barbecue and plancha takes its place). Washing machine and dryer are in the basement; bed linen, towels and toiletries are provided, and a baby cot is available on request. The whole villa and the entire finca are exclusively yours during your stay, with free parking on the property.
Getting around: the nearest beach is 10–15 minutes away, cafés, restaurants, supermarket and petrol station 5–10 minutes by car. Tenerife North airport is about 20 minutes away, Tenerife South about 50 minutes. We strongly recommend a rental car. Please note that parties and events are not permitted, and that under Spanish law every guest must be registered – so please state the exact number of guests when booking. Minimum stay 4 nights.
The surroundings
La Matanza de Acentejo lies on the green north side of Tenerife, between Tacoronte and La Orotava – wine country, with terraced vineyards, chestnut woods and the Atlantic below. This is the part of the island where the locals spend their weekends: in the guachinches, the simple family-run wine taverns of the Acentejo region, and along the coast between El Sauzal and Puerto de la Cruz.
Within a short drive you have everything the north has to offer: the black-sand beaches of Mesa del Mar and El Socorro, the botanical garden and old town of Puerto de la Cruz, the colonial centre of La Orotava, and the road up through the pine forests to Teide National Park. Tenerife North airport is around 20 minutes away – convenient for arrivals, yet far enough that the finca stays completely quiet.
