Terms & conditions
1. Scope and contracting party
These terms and conditions apply to all bookings of accommodation made via villacrone.com. Your contracting party is Villa Crone SL, Urbanización El Drago 23, 38311 La Orotava, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, CIF B56774359 (“we” or “us”).
2. Accommodation
We rent out the accommodation units of Villa Crone (main house, penthouse, apartments 1–4) in La Orotava and Villa La Matanza in La Matanza de Acentejo as holiday rentals (vivienda vacacional) for tourist stays. The description and maximum occupancy shown on the relevant property page apply.
3. Booking and conclusion of the contract
By completing your booking on the website, you make a binding offer. The contract is concluded when we confirm the booking by email. Please check the confirmation and let us know immediately of any discrepancies.
4. Prices and minimum stay
All prices are final prices in euros for the entire accommodation and the booked period, including final cleaning, bed linen, towels and all additional costs. The only exception is a pet surcharge, if applicable (section 10). For Villa La Matanza, the price depends on the number of guests. The price shown before you complete your booking applies. The minimum stay is stated on the relevant property page (currently 3 nights; 4 nights for Villa La Matanza).
5. Payment
The total price is due at the time of booking and is processed by our payment service provider Stripe (payment methods include card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and SEPA Direct Debit). If you pay with Klarna, Klarna’s terms also apply. Discount codes cannot be combined and cannot be exchanged for cash.
6. Changes and cancellation by the guest
The following terms apply to changes and cancellations:
- Changes or cancellation up to 30 days before your arrival date: free of charge (full refund if you cancel).
- Cancellation 29 to 14 days before your arrival date: refund of 50% of the total price.
- Cancellation less than 14 days before your arrival date, and no-shows: no refund.
All refunds are made to the payment method originally used for the booking. Please send any request to change or cancel your booking in writing to info@villacrone.com. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
7. No right of withdrawal
There is no statutory right of withdrawal for the rental of holiday accommodation for a specific period (Art. 103(l) of Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007; Art. 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU). The cancellation terms in section 6 apply.
8. Arrival and departure
Check-in is from 3 pm (15:00) and check-out is by 11 am (11:00). Keys are handed over either in person by our staff or via a key code at the door; we will send you the code or your arrival details before you arrive. You will receive the exact address and arrival information with your booking confirmation.
9. Guest registration
Under Spanish law (Real Decreto 933/2021), we are required to register all guests. Please state the exact number of guests when booking and provide the required details and identity documents of all guests before or on arrival. Without registration, we are not permitted to hand over the accommodation.
10. Use of the property and house rules
The accommodation may only be used by the guests stated in the booking, up to the maximum occupancy shown. Parties and events are not permitted on the property. Please treat the accommodation, furnishings, pools and whirlpools with care and be considerate of other guests and neighbours.
- Smoking: Smoking is permitted outside the buildings; please do not smoke inside the buildings.
- Pets: Pets are welcome on request. Because of the intensive additional cleaning, we charge a surcharge of €20 per day, payable on site or by arrangement. Please let us know about your pet when you book.
- Quiet hours: Please observe quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am (22:00–08:00).
- Security deposit: We do not charge a security deposit.
In the event of serious violations, we may end your stay.
11. Liability
You are liable for any damage caused intentionally or negligently by you or your travel companions. Please report any damage or defects immediately so that we can remedy them. We are liable in accordance with the statutory provisions. Use of the pools and whirlpools is at your own risk; children must be supervised.
12. Unforeseen events
If we are unable to provide the accommodation for reasons beyond our control (for example, orders by public authorities or natural events), we will refund all amounts already paid in full or, if you wish, offer you an equivalent alternative date.
13. Applicable law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer dispute resolution body.
14. Final provisions
If any individual provision is invalid, the rest of the contract remains valid.
